The Grand Hamper is the most considered piece in the collection. Woven over weeks by master women artisans in rural
Sindh, Pakistan — coiling natural seagrass, palm leaf, and wicker into a form that holds its shape for years, not seasons.
The mandala pattern is drawn from the geometric cosmology of American Indian weaving: concentric, deliberate, and
never reproduced exactly twice.
The fitted dome lid conceals entirely. Lifted, it reveals a generous interior. This is not a laundry basket made to be
hidden — it is made to be left in the room.
