The Acoma Dome Hamper takes its form from the oldest architectural tradition of the Southwest — the kiva, the rounded
chamber, the vessel that holds what is sacred. Woven in rural Sindh, Pakistan by women artisans using natural
seagrass and palm leaf, its dome lid gives it a sculptural completeness that few storage objects achieve.
Open, it receives. Closed, it becomes a considered object in the room — not furniture to overlook.
